With the weather warming up and the flowers starting to bloom, spring is the perfect time for a family photo session.
Whether you’re taking photos to commemorate a special occasion or just want some updated family portraits, choosing the right clothing is key.
This month’s clothing inspiration includes a long-sleeved maxi dress for mom, a lace insert linen dress for girls, and a green waffle knit sweater for boys, paired up with terrycloth shorts.

For mom, a long-sleeved maxi dress in a mint floral print is a great choice.
Not only is it bump-friendly for expectant mothers, but the long sleeves will keep you warm on cooler spring days.
The mint color is also perfect for spring, evoking feelings of freshness and new beginnings.
This dress can be dressed up or down, making it a versatile addition to your wardrobe.

For girls, a lace insert linen dress from Zara is a stylish and comfortable choice.
The linen material is breathable and perfect for warmer spring days, while the lace inserts add a touch of elegance.
The dress is also versatile enough to wear to other occasions, such as Easter or weddings.

For boys, a green waffle knit sweater from Zara is a great option.
The sweater is warm and comfortable, perfect for cooler spring days.
The green color is also on-trend for spring, evoking feelings of growth and renewal.
The waffle knit texture adds a touch of interest to the sweater, making it a stylish choice for any occasion.

To pair with the sweater, terrycloth shorts from Zara are a great choice for boys.
The shorts are comfortable and breathable, perfect for warmer spring days.
The terrycloth material also adds a fun and playful touch to the outfit.
These shorts can be dressed up or down, making them a versatile addition to your child’s wardrobe.

Thinking of spring? Feels like we haven't had winter here yet with this record breaking heat in December, but I'm feeling ready for longer days, early morning walks, flowers budding and signs of new life.
Motherhood stretches you, changes you, fills you in ways nothing else can.
These are the days when time both stretches and disappears. One day blends into the next, and suddenly they’re a month old.

2025, you were full in the best way.
This year in the studio looked like little fingers wrapped around mama’s hand, brand new babies settling into safe arms, tiny smiles turning into belly laughs, and families learning how to just be together long enough for it to show.
I’m still undone by how fast it all goes.
Thank you for trusting me with your season.
For showing up tired, hopeful, pregnant, postpartum, joyful, tender, and real.
These highlights are a little love letter to the families I got to work with in 2025.
Here’s to more connection, more presence, and more moments that actually matter.
Eight years of tradition.
Eight years of families walking through these doors, year after year.

Some of these kids have been coming since they were babies. Some have grown up and moved on, and that feels just as meaningful. Being a small part of their childhood memories is something I’m truly grateful for.

Here’s a glimpse into a full day of quiet moments, nervous smiles, whispered conversations, and the calm magic that happens before Santa even says hello.

I’m deeply grateful to the families who trust me with this tradition, and to the Santa who has shown up year after year and become part of so many childhood memories.

When I first started this, I had no idea how it would be received. I’m so grateful it’s become part of so many families’ holiday traditions.
