Our Top Teen Favorite Gift Ideas for Easter

Gifts for Teens

I am so excited to share this post because as a second-time-around mom, I completely understand the challenges of “what to buy your teen or pre-teen when we don’t want to resort to anything technology”.

We love technology, and I believe it’s a wonderful tool and source of entertainment, and it can be a lot of fun.
We are also VERY aware of the dangers that come with it.
If you are like me, you prefer to buy ANYTHING that would encourage your kids to go live life in real life.

So for holidays like Easter (Easter is the perfect holiday to buy items to kick off your summer theme), it can be challenging to come up with something when video games are the number one desire among kids and young teens (What child HASNT requested Robux for their Birthday?)

I personally have never bought video games or video game consoles for my kids, which puts me in a position of needing to be very creative for birthdays and holidays.
(That line is not to be mistaken as they don’t have them, they just have to work and buy their own, and I DO allow that- so long they sign the technology agreement)

GET THEM OUTDOORS:

My younger boys are now 13 and 11.
I like to find ways to get my boys outdoors, and with them growing up, they are capable of learning how to use more rugged tools.
ALL THREE of my boys love anything survival (and I have fun with them too!)

I bought Jody Mockabee’s homeschool curriculum on Wildcraft,
and a bunch of tools to start learning how to build a fire and shelter, and other survival tools.
These made the best Easter gifts last year (and they are getting more items this year to add to it) because summer was coming and I wanted our home summer camp theme to be Bushcraft.

LET’S TALK TOYS

My Boy’s current favorite toys.
These are not a “ONE and DONE” thing.

First, our TOP current favorites is…
The Rubix cube!
No joke my boys play with these for hours (I’m not exaggerating, they are obsessed, they even take them to school)
HOWEVER, not any Rubix cube will do, it’s actually not the one made by Rubix, it’s the speed cube, and has no stickers (that’s important to them, the block itself is colored)

They also love the brain teaser puzzles and origami, or paper folding of any sort (can you see the brain challenge in these toys?)

2- Snake Cubes
3- IQ Puzzle
4- Foldology
5-3D Metal Puzzle

Let me know what your Teen or Pre-Teen loves so I can share the love!

How I Take the Stress Out of Finding Outfits.

I’ve already done the work for you. |

My client wardrobe is filled with beautiful, timeless pieces that are ready for you to wear.

How do you feel about borrowing from a studio wardrobe? Do you prefer to bring your own? or just show up in your yoga pants and decide the day of your session?

My Complimentary Maternity (aka: Newborn Orientation) sessions are a way to try on and pick out clothing for your newborn session.
Making sure you are photographed in what you love, even if it is in your own clothing!
You don't want to find out you dont love what you wore AFTER you've had your newborn session.
One day, you’ll forget how soft their skin felt against yours, how their little fingers played with the hem of your shirt, how their baby curls framed their face.
But a photograph will bring it all back, as if time never moved at all.
This baby will never know the sound of your heartbeat the way they do right now.
Let’s capture this connection before they’re in your arms.
You might feel like these days are slipping through your fingers, like no matter how hard you try, you just can’t slow time down.
But mama, you can pause it. Just for a moment.
And you’ll be so glad you did.
Have you ever thought about how one day, this baby will ask about the time they were in your belly?
These photos aren’t just for you—they are for them, too.
