Classic Farmhouse Stripe Kitchen Towels

Velvet Ribbon

I ordered two sizes, and misplaced the

3/8″ Velvet Ribon

(I’m sure I’ll find the spool after the holidays) one, so I used the

1″ Velvet Ribon

for the project, but I’m sure any ribbon or twine will be beautiful.

Vintage Bell

Start by laying out the towel in a vertical position, and fold the top half down a little over halfway past the middle of towel.
Bring up the bottom half to the edge of the top half (the bottom fold will be shorter than the top fold).

Lay the soap on the towel so the soap
will l be covered in the back but exposed in the front.

Fold the sides around the back of the soap bottle, creating an additional fold
to tuck excess towel away if necessary so it doesn’t wrap around the front again.

Tie your ribbon, twine (or both!), and add embellishments.

Greenery was cut from our own shrubs, cleaned, and tucked in the ribbon.
Bell was tucked in for photo purposes but may be attached with a paper clip, pin, or twine.

Thinking of spring? Feels like we haven't had winter here yet with this record breaking heat in December, but I'm feeling ready for longer days, early morning walks, flowers budding and signs of new life.
Motherhood stretches you, changes you, fills you in ways nothing else can.
These are the days when time both stretches and disappears. One day blends into the next, and suddenly they’re a month old.

2025, you were full in the best way.
This year in the studio looked like little fingers wrapped around mama’s hand, brand new babies settling into safe arms, tiny smiles turning into belly laughs, and families learning how to just be together long enough for it to show.
I’m still undone by how fast it all goes.
Thank you for trusting me with your season.
For showing up tired, hopeful, pregnant, postpartum, joyful, tender, and real.
These highlights are a little love letter to the families I got to work with in 2025.
Here’s to more connection, more presence, and more moments that actually matter.
Eight years of tradition.
Eight years of families walking through these doors, year after year.

Some of these kids have been coming since they were babies. Some have grown up and moved on, and that feels just as meaningful. Being a small part of their childhood memories is something I’m truly grateful for.

Here’s a glimpse into a full day of quiet moments, nervous smiles, whispered conversations, and the calm magic that happens before Santa even says hello.

I’m deeply grateful to the families who trust me with this tradition, and to the Santa who has shown up year after year and become part of so many childhood memories.

When I first started this, I had no idea how it would be received. I’m so grateful it’s become part of so many families’ holiday traditions.
