✨ Two things can be true at once: I can love having my kids home and still feel excited when they go back to school. (If I’m honest, sometimes that little bit of guilt sneaks in too.)
💛 There’s so much pressure on us as moms to soak in every single moment, but excitement doesn’t mean we don’t love our kids — it just means we’re human. Every summer, I choose to give my kids the best of me, pressing pause on projects and saving my energy for them.
🌱 Now that they’re back in school, I feel a wave of creativity about where I want to take my photography and how I can serve my mamas. Time is flying — just two more summers with my middle child, and four more with my youngest. That truth keeps me grounded in what matters most, even as I look forward to what’s next.
📚 Here’s to fresh notebooks, quiet mornings, and new beginnings — for our kids and for us.
💌 I’m adding something new soon — a space for more mom-to-mom encouragement, some of the best parenting tips, and a little heart for the home. Watch for what’s coming!
This right here is why I take pictures
Nothing fancy. Just us. And that’s more than enough
Life doesn’t give you a warning when you’re in the middle of the good stuff.
This is one of those moments you can’t re-do.
