Best of 2015 | Davis County Photographer

I want to give a big thank you to everyone who has supported me this last year.  Each and every one of you play such an important role in my success and love for what I do.  I have had the opportunity stretch beyond my comfort zone and grow as an artist, mentor other photographers, and I’ve had my work featured on three separate occasions by The Motherhood Anthology .    I can only hope that 2016 is every bit as fabulous!
Please sit back and enjoy a rather large collection of my favorite images from 2015, and I look forward to seeing you all next year with new adventures!

Everyone says “soak it all in” like you aren’t already trying. I just want you to know—it’s okay if it feels like a blur. That’s why I take these photos, so you don’t have to remember everything perfectly.
You will never regret taking the photos. But you might regret not having them. One day, that tiny baby will be asking to see what they looked like when they fit in your hands.
They won’t always wake up in the middle of the night needing you. They won’t always reach for you first when they fall. They won’t always find their greatest comfort in your arms. But right now? Right now, you are everything to them. And that’s something worth holding onto.`
Newborn photography isn’t just about getting "nice pictures." It’s about telling the story of these early days—the love, the connection, the quiet moments in between. What’s something about your newborn experience you never want to forget?
Let’s be real—family life is messy. There are crumbs on the floor, mismatched socks, and someone always needs something. But in between? The laughter, the love, the magic. What’s one of your favorite “perfectly imperfect” family moments?
